In different ways we’ve been present on the internet for 6 years now. The secret to our success has been that we look for a gap in the internet and jump in with a quality website to fill it. SenSeb Productions Ltd., my company, now operates and controls the websites, though they are all still linked by The Masterweb network.
The Masterweb was launched in 2004, and in 2006 I realised there was no website for Wallace and Gromit fans, so I built one - 62 West Wallaby Street. With its podcast going to #3 in the iTunes charts it really took off, and it was relaunched in 2009 with a Monthly online magazine – the Aardmag. It is unofficial but still supported by Aardman Animations Ltd.
In 2007 I saw a gap for a website based around Doctor Who action figures, so I built one - Doctor Who Figures Online. It is now also the largest website of its kind with an extremely popular forum community. We have a mixture of content – from reviews and photographs to high quality online comics.
On all our websites we have a large base of supporters who regularly contribute top quality content and we consistently encourage feedback from every user.
